Roller Coasters

Ever since I was a kid I was always fascinated with roller coasters. Fun fact about me, my first dream job was to become a roller coaster designer / engineer. Whenever I was at the amusement park I would rush to get in line for the tallest, fastest, scariest roller coasters. Sure, I’d have those anxious thoughts, you know, the “what if’s”. What if the ride breaks down? What if I fall off? But still, I was so eager to go up and down, through the loops, upside down, forwards and backwards. And after every ride I’d find myself rushing to get back on and do it all again.

Roller coasters could not replicate life any better. We’ve all been there. We have our ups, and we have our downs. Sometimes we make awesome progress only to find ourselves going backwards. Life will put you in crazy situations, some that are exhilarating, thrilling, exciting. And we all know life can be terrifying! But just like roller coasters, we always enjoy the ride. And if we don’t, we know what ride to not get in line for!

Working at Core 4 has been a wild ride, a roller coaster, and I’ve enjoyed every second of it. I had some highs and had some lows, but this roller coaster is definitely one for the books. I’ve built some strong relationships with some of the best people I’ve had the pleasure of knowing. I was able to train some terrific athletes, and watch many of them grow into young adults to take their athletic career to the next level. We hit some adversity and rolled with the punches. We got through a pandemic and were even able to use that adversity to our advantage and grow! Running workouts on zoom is something I’ll always remember. I cannot thank everyone at Core 4 enough for creating memories with me, and making this experience the best roller coaster I’ve ever been on. And just like a roller coaster, it is something I would do again in a heartbeat.

Sadly, the time has come for me to get in line for a new ride. You all will be missed so much, and you know how to contact me. But in the meantime, buckle up and enjoy the ride!
