New Year's Resolutions:Less Is More

We made it to the new year, and with that comes New Year’s resolutions. These are usually huge life-changing goals like to completely cut something out of your life (candy, alcohol, bread, etc.), to lose some crazy amount of weight by summer so you can look like your best self on the beach, or to master something new.

But how come we see most of these resolutions fizzle out by the end of January for most people? I think people forget to set smaller goals along the way and instead feel as if they’re failing when they don’t make huge leaps towards their goal.

So this year aim to set yourself up for success. Instead of trying to immediately cut out something from your life, try to limit how often you have it first. Whether it be only 2 drinks when you go out, eating one piece of candy instead of a few, losing a pound a week, or learning one new thing when you have the time. Give yourself a chance to succeed all the time by setting smaller goals aimed towards your bigger resolution!
