Why Is Accountability Important?

So you've begun a journey into the fitness realm. Well, what does that mean? Does it mean automatic results? The answer....not necessarily. See there's so many facets of "results". Today let's talk about accountability.

Some people hold themselves accountable very well. Whatever their intrisic motivation is, it works. Now let's talk about the rest of us. When our motivation wanes our commitment needs to take over. And when we have accountability partners it makes commitment so much easier. I know when I have to answer to someone I'll get the job done. One of the reasons I have Mike program my workouta is for the accountability. I definitely work so much harder when I have someone to answer to. I've been training people and athletes for twenty years! I can definitely design a program for myself but for me the accountability is so much more important.

At CORE 4 we genuinely care. The act of being accountable means that I’m being responsible for actions I’ve committed to, to another party who lovingly holds me accountable to complete the actions I’ve chosen. When we ask about your goals. When we ask about what you're eating, when we ask about why you're missing workouts, it's not to be hurtful, or put your down. We ask these questions because we genuinely care about your goals and want to see the best for you.

Over the next 7 weeks, I will personally be trying to get into one of the best shapes of my life. Now is the time we can all practice accountability by helping me be accountable to my goals. So we want to hear what your best accountability ideas are and how we can implement them with not only myself but with and everyone else at CORE 4.
