Overnight Oats

Overnight oats are such an easy way to get breakfast in, especially if you're super busy in the morning because you can make this the day before. 

 

Ingredients:

-1/2 cup of liquid-milk, almond milk, oat milk, etc

-1/2cup rolled oats 

-1/2cup yogurt, optional

-1tsp chia seeds 

-Protein powder, whatever you use and whatever serving it suggests on your container

-Toppings-nuts, nut butter, fresh fruit, dried fruit, shredded coconut, cinnamon, citrus fruit zest, maple syrup, granola, etc.

 

Directions:

  1. Add the desired amounts of milk, oats, yogurt, and chia seeds to a jar or container and stir well. Refrigerate overnight or for at least 5 hours. 
  2. In the morning, add additional liquid if you'd like. Once you achieve the desired consistency, top with nuts, nut butter, fresh fruit, dried fruit, shredded coconut, cinnamon, citrus fruit zest, maple syrup, granola, or whatever else you like.

    The mixture will keep for up to 2 days.
